All our products are made using PLA, short for Poly Lactic Acid. Essentially, PLA is a long chain of lactic acid molecules, the same lactic acid can also be found in humans when exercising.
PLA is made from plants such as corn starch, cassava roots, sugercane and more, making the production sustainable and renewable. Subsequently, these plants are fermented and distillated into lactic acid. Finally, through a polymerization process the lactic acid molecules are linked together, creating the final PLA material.
